Rod carry bags in shore fishing are still fairly rare to be honest, most anglers still just lash their rods, tripod and shelter together with bungee cords and make their way to the beach. This is all well and good but sometimes do you not think your pride and joy deserve a little bit more protection carrying them both to and from the shore.

That is where the Vertix hard rod case comes in to play, not only does it have the capability to carry 3 rods, or 2 and a shelter, it is made of a very tough nylon. This makes it rigid to the point of being a protective shell around your rods meaning you won’t arrive on the beach facing bent rings or broken sections.

This rod case contains 3 zipped sections, the zips themselves are very strong and hardwearing so you won’t be left floundering about where cheaper ones would snap rendering the pocket pretty much useless. Inside each of these sections is some great soft padding, cushioning your rods and giving them a safe cuddle whilst they are being stored. It also has a very nice padded carry handle meaning that carrying this rod tube is a comfortable experience.

This rod also has another amazing feature, it has 2 sprung loaded legs that, when opened enable the rod tube to stand up so its not laying in the sand, mud or whatever else you are fishing over keeping everything clean, neat and tidy.. It looks pretty awesome too.

Overall this is a great product for keeping your rods safe when they are in transit, the tripod feature is very cool too and I love using mine as it gives me piece of mind that my rods will be safe at all times.
