My angling journey….

Matt Crowe

I started fishing from the age of 4, catching small silver fish on the River Nene in peterborough. I quickly progressed onto match fishing at a very young age and then onto lure fishing for pike in my teenage years along with beach fishing. Soon the saltwater side of things became my favourite place to be and the local beaches became my stomping grounds.

I soon got into writing and became a regular contributor for Total Sea Fishing magazine, I now contribute to the online sea fishing magazine called Hookpoint. I have also been lucky enough to be a worldwide fishing guide in the last few years fishing such amazing places as Norway, Namibia and Mexico. My favourite fish is the humble sole and my favourite place to fish is Orford Ness in Suffolk.
